Position Title SOA Integration Architect
Location Boston, MA
Start Date ASAP
End Date 9/30/2014 (with possible extension)
Job Description :
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position requires a subject matter expert in all aspects of integration who can address our business integration requirements using SOA and Business Process Management (BPM).
Responsibilities:
* Lead an enterprise integration project and is responsible to gather the integration requirement with the business analysts and business process teams, develop the right design, lead the implementation, and coach all parties throughout the projects implementation cycle in all aspects of integrations best practices.
* Consult with business leadership to develop and maintain an architecture design in alignment with business strategy and objectives.
* Consult with infrastructure teams, applications teams, data architect, security architects, and strategic partners to create an architecture accommodating the business strategy.
* Understand the context of the environment in which a strategy is developed and take necessary actions to maintain the strategy as the internal and external environments change.
* Provide technical expertise and leadership to develop integration architecture solutions spanning business processes, systems, hardware, operating systems, applications and networking environments and platforms.
Skills:
* Demonstrate thorough understanding of modern enterprise architecture, hands on experience with Enterprise Application Integration Middleware and Platforms.
* Have a proven track record of successfully delivering SOA integration projects.
* Must have 5 years of architect experience in all aspects of technology including but not limited to business applications, middleware, database technology, business intelligence, security technology and best practices.
* Have understanding of Risk Management, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, IT Security Architecture, and IT Regulatory Compliance.
* Experience in Health care domain is preferred.
* Knowledge about HIPAA and HL7 messaging standards.
* Have the ability to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
* Fluency in web services standards, technologies and tools and the ability to identify and select applicable standards, practices and implementation patterns relevant to SOA.
* Have experience in Java and JEE development and concepts.
* Have the ability to create estimations of the time and resource requirements for different activities and determine which activities can be completed in parallel and in sequence.
* Have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Education:
Undergraduate degree or higher in a related field.
